Wake me up when september ends :: О блоге

  Блог так и остается домашним. Как ни странно, то небольшое количество друзей, что в френдленте по-настоящему интересно читать-смотреть. Никогда не добавлял просто так. Мог бы линкануть, но если кому интересно профиль или френдлента пестрят красивыми фото и интересным текстом. Полезно, когда рядом интересные люди, есть чему поучится. Еще немного и в журнале будут появляться полноразмерные фото, текст останется грубоватой отсебятиной:Р, но уже будет интереснее… однажды долго не писал в ЖЖ и один хороший человек, которого знаю еще по подкурсам, сказал что интересно читать мой журнал, было неожиданно и приятно. Officials struck back this week, going after the country’s only independent election monitoring organization, Golos, which has been operating an online map tracking campaign violations across the country. A court found it guilty Friday night of violating a law forbidding publication of public-opinion reports close to an election and imposed a fine equivalent to about $1,000. Early Saturday, Golos leader Lilya Shibanova was detained at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport for 12 hours and was allowed to go only after giving her laptop to security officers, the group said.

“Golos has become a most important and respected monitor,” said Oleg Kozyrev, a media analyst and influential blogger. “The authorities were afraid people would learn the truth about how elections are manipulated.”

Digicel debt rose €210m in the six months to end September

CEO Colm Delves said the debt refinancing was well supported by lenders and provided further balance sheet flexibility.

BORROWINGS at the Denis O'Brien -owned Digicel increased by €210m in the six months to the end of September, according to its interim financial statement.

Sales at Digicel rose by 16pc to €926m for the same period.

The increase in revenues is running ahead of growth in customer numbers, thanks to stronger demand for add-on services, including web browsing and messaging, the company said.

It is understood that Digicel's total debt now stands at around €3.6bn.

The debt was increased as part of a wider refinancing of senior borrowing facilities. The repayment date for the rest of the senior debt was also extended under the same deal.
