'X Factor' promises duets with superstars in final week

While it’s been reported that X Factor’s host, Steve Jones, might not be getting his contract renewed for next season of the U.S. version of the Simon Cowell-created show, other X Factor news reveals that Wednesday night promises some big name acts as performers.

There have been rumors that the show has tapped Justin Bieber, Pitbull and Ne-Yo for duets on Wednesday’s show, the last episode that three finalists Melanie Amaro, Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik will be able to sing.

During a Q&A session with the finalists and the show’s four judges Cowell, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid and Nicole Scherzinger, there was no confirmation of the big name duets.

Rather, Rolling Stone reports that the show is still in negotiations with the singers and they won’t be revealed until they are set to go on stage, if they are locked in at all.

Ne-Yo's Holiday Charity Tour Helps 4000 Children

R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo went on tour recently not to entertain fans but to aid 4,000 children of the Foster Care and Group Home systems during the holiday season. Ne-Yo and his Compound Foundation "Giving Tour" made stops in Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., Las Vegas and Orlando, providing Toys for Tots, books, clothing and meals. "This Giving Tour is needed, and it is my pleasure and my responsibility to show our future leaders, dreams can come true and I am living, breathing proof of this," said Ne-Yo. Ne-Yo Brings 'Giving Tour' To Orlando

The father of two told WESH that the project is near and dear to his heart.

"Being a father myself, it's hard for me the fathom a kid could be in a place that it could feel unloved," Ne-Yo said.

He sat down for an exclusive interview with WESH 2 News to talk about his Compound Foundation. The foundation has teamed up with a host of other organizations including, the Boys and Girls Club of America and Mattel, for the 5th Annual Giving Tour.

Ne-Yo is touring five cities in five days with Orlando being one of the stops. In that time, the foundation will have given toys, clothes, and games to more than 3,000 foster and group home children.
